Copernicus Trail

The Copernicus Trail is a cultural route that guides visitors through places connected with the life and work of Nicolaus Copernicus in Warmia. It includes over 60 locations and more than 100 sites, as well as other spots of historical and scientific importance.

History and significance

Copernicus spent a significant part of his life in Warmia, where he served as an administrator of the Warmian Chapter’s estates, conducted astronomical observations, and worked in geodesy, economics and cartography.
